Infants

My goal is for your infant to receive the love and attention they need, to be cuddled and held, and to get the develpmental simulation required. Your baby will recieve tummy time, floor time, and be held often. They will have their own space for sleeping seperated from the action where they can enjoy quiet relaxation while being safety montiored. As your infant grows they will have a safe and spacious environment to learn how to roll over, scoot, and crawl. Infants will enjoy daily storytime and the outdoors while being present during toddler/ preschool activites so they can learn and experience new things too. My goal is to bulid trust with your baby, so they will feel safe, secure, and loved at Totland, while being happy in an enviroment that is right for them.

Toddlers

As your infant grows into toddler, new experiences wait for them. Their curioustiy will be explored and their independence will be fostered. They will practice their gross motor skills by learning how to walk, run, and jump. Their fine motor skills will be practiced by learning how to use a spoon, their pincher grasp, and how to drink from a cup. Milestones will be met, such as talking, transfering to a big boy/girl bed and potty training! They will have a safe area to explore all that interests them. They will engage in painting, coloring, pretend play, music and movement and more. Socialization skills will be used and practiced. Frequent storytime and activites will promote new vocabularly. Your toddler will have fun and experience a whole new world.

You will receive a monthly calendar of activites. Your child will learn numbers, letters, colors, shapes and more in a hands on, fun learning environment.
